Job Overview:
We are seeking a enthhusiastic and energetic Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting medical administrative tasks. This is a rewarding opportunity in outpatient medical /surgical clinic.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling insurance forms
- Educate patients about their conditions, medications, and treatment plans
- Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic life support techniques
- Previous experience working in a outpatient clinic preferred but not necessary - will train.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
